Teresa Baker (she/her)

5

Teresa Baker creates paintings by placing yarn, buckskin, and other materials on top of large swaths of synthetic turf. She was drawn to the material because it suggests the land and the space between natural and artificial. She makes the abstract compositions intuitively, drawing inspiration from sources ranging from textured yarn to expansive landscapes.
