These photographs by Jonathan González are stills enlarged from Super 8 film. They picture the spaces on the Museum’s outdoor terraces where dancers perform González’s magic hour–golden time. Labeled A, B, and C, the images correspond to the locations of the first, second, and third hours of the performance. The terms “magic hour” and “golden time” refer to the warm, diffuse light around sunset and the time of day that draws the largest number of television viewers. 

Estas fotografías de Jonathan González son ampliaciones de fotogramas de película Super 8. Muestran los espacios en las terrazas exteriores del Museo en donde un grupo de bailarines representan la pieza hora mágica–momento dorado de González. Identificadas como A, B y C, las imágenes corresponden a las locaciones de la primera, segunda y tercera hora de la presentación. Los términos “hora mágica” y “momento dorado” se refieren a la luz cálida y difusa del atardecer y a la hora del día que atrae a la mayor cantidad de televidentes.
