Raven Halfmoon (she/her)

26

Raven Halfmoon built Sun Twins using a coil technique that her ancestors, the Caddo people, have employed for thousands of years. The twinned figures reflect her sense that she never makes art as an individual but always alongside others, including her family and ancestors. The work’s palette echoes the sky’s changing light in the first moments of sunset or the last moments of sunrise.
