Events
We host conversations, symposia, film screenings, performances, virtual events, and more. These events explore American art and critical issues in contemporary culture through the Whitney’s exhibitions and collection. Check the calendar for what's on.
Courses and Workshops
Open up new perspectives with one of the Whitney’s courses, drop-in discussions, or artmaking workshops. These offerings are opportunities to dive deeper into art at the Whitney and engage with experts in the field.
Tours
Free gallery tours through the Whitney’s current exhibitions are offered each day. Private group tours led by Teaching Fellows or Museum Educators are also available for an additional fee with advanced registration.
Queer History Walks
Take a free walking tour to discover the vibrant queer history of the Whitney Museum's surrounding neighborhood. Explore select historical sites where the LGBTQ+ community once found a place to connect and create. If you can't join us in-person June–October when these tours are offered, listen to the audio guide.
Recorded Programs
Many of our public programs are recorded and available to be viewed later. Check out videos of past programs from the comfort of your home.
