Wallace "Wally" Berman (February 18, 1926 – February 18, 1976) was an American experimental filmmaker, assemblage, and collage artist and a crucial figure in the history of post-war California art.

Introduction

Berman studied at Chouinard Art Institute and the Jepson Art School in 1944. He published the art and poetry journal "Semina" from 1955 to 1964. He is noted for his photographic collages.
