Open Studio for Teens: C. Spencer Yeh

Fri, Oct 20, 2017
4–6 pm

Floor Three, Hearst Artspace

For New York City teens

Interdisciplinary artist C. Spencer Yeh invites teens to play with shape, line, color, and composition. In this drop-in art workshop, participants will create layered drawings and project them onto a screen to experiment with different juxtapositions. Yeh will work with participants and answer questions about his practice. All supplies are provided and no previous art experience is required—everyone is welcome!

On October 6, C. Spencer Yeh will present Two Workaround Works Around Calder, a visual and auditory piece made in response to sculptures by Alexander Calder. Learn more.

Refreshments and art materials provided. No RSVP required – bring a friend!

Free for teens. Upon entering the Museum, pick up a ticket in the lobby and head up to the Hearst Artspace on Floor Three.
