Contemporaries and Contemporaries Patron members

Join artist and educator Mark Joshua Epstein for an evening of drinks and hands-on art-making inspired by portraits in the exhibition Andy Warhol—From A to B and Back Again. Create works in response to Warhol’s portrait commissions from art collectors, socialites, fashion designers, models, and celebrities. After taking a photograph of the sitter with a Polaroid camera, he would then convert the resulting image to a silkscreen—a streamlined production method that allowed Warhol a steady means of income for what he called “business art.”

7–7:30 pm
Reception and private viewing of the first-floor portraiture component of the exhibition Andy Warhol—From A to B and Back Again

7:30–8:30 pm
