Senior curatorial assistant Christie Mitchell and associate exhibition designer Zabie Mustafa will give a behind-the-scenes overview of the process of organizing and installing the Whitney’s monumental Warhol exhibition. The first Warhol retrospective organized in the United States since 1989, Andy Warhol—From A to B and Back Again is also the largest monographic exhibition presented at the downtown Whitney to-date. Hear from these two members of the Warhol project team as they share candid stories about every phase of the project—from coordinating with lenders and laying out the floor plan to installing more than 350 works of art. This is a perfect opportunity to take a deep dive into this once-in-a-lifetime show in its final week in New York.
