New York City Teens

Youth Insights Leaders host a special screening for teens of CITIZENFOUR followed by a teen-moderated Q&A with artist, Academy Award-winning director, Laura Poitras. After the program, teens are invited to explore the artist's first solo museum exhibition Laura Poitras: Astro Noise.

Doors open at 4:30 pm, and the screening begins promptly at 5 pm.

CITIZENFOUR is a suspenseful documentary that gives audiences unprecedented access to filmmaker Laura Poitras and journalist Glenn Greenwald’s encounters with Edward Snowden in Hong Kong, as he hands over classified documents providing evidence of mass indiscriminate and illegal invasions of privacy by the National Security Agency.

This event is free to attend, and no RSVP is required—bring a friend! Seating is limited and first come, first served. Questions? Email youthinsights@whitney.org.
