Double Isometric Self Portrait (Serape)

1964

A colorful, stylized diptych painting of two traditional Korean hanboks, each divided into geometric sections with a variety of bold colors. The garments are displayed against a solid background, split down the middle where the two panels meet, with the left side in maroon and the right side in red. Each hanbok is hung on a hanger with a visible hook at the top center of each panel.
