Introduction

Hannah graduated in 1975 from Parsons School of Design in New York. His work is figurative and anachronistic, mirroring his interest in painters such as Edward Hopper and Winslow Homer. His youth was spent in the "punk" milieu of downtown Manhattan in the 1970s, and he exhibited in the 'Times Square Show,' a seminal group exhibition organized by Collaborative Projects Inc., or Colab in 1980.
