Sylvia Stone

Introduction
Sylvia Stone (1928 – September 5, 2011) was a Canadian sculptor. Her work is included in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Smithsonian American Art Museum. She was a tenured professor at Brooklyn College and a notable Abstract artist of the New York School, best known for her large-scale sculptures made from Plexiglass.
