Working With the Whitney

Thank you for working with the Whitney! The Whitney Museum of American Art takes pride in relationships with our partners, vendors, and outside contractors.

We are committed to working together to create a safe experience and space for our staff, visitors, and vendors. When working with the Whitney, you are expected to follow all Museum policies, regulations, and terms.

Prior to working together, you must provide some of the following information and documents to our staff:

  • Please provide a certificate of insurance that names the “Whitney Museum of American Art, its Directors and Officers, Employees, Volunteers and Assigns” as additional insured and adheres to all specified limits. All certificates must be submitted to whitney@m.contractsafe.com.
  • Work with your Whitney point-of-contact to finalize the necessary agreement, either on the terms below, or on a more specialized form (i.e. Proposal, Services Agreement, Independent Contractor Agreement Access Agreement).
  • Please provide a signed W-9 to your point-of-contact prior to beginning your work.

If your work involves providing services:

Please review the Whitney’s standard Vendor Terms. By providing services to the Whitney, you confirm receipt and agreement to these terms.

If your work involves providing goods:

Please review the Whitney’s standard Purchase Order. By providing goods to the Whitney, you confirm receipt and agreement to these terms.
