COVID-19 Vendor Terms & Conditions 
April 2024

COVID-19: The Whitney requires all Vendors to agree to comply with the Whitney’s health and safety requirements, as may be in effect from time to time, including monitor their COVID-19 symptoms, staying home if feeling symptoms or not feeling well, masking, hygiene, sanitation, and social distancing protocols. Vendor is also responsible for complying with all Federal (CDC, OSHA), New York State, and New York City COVID-19-related regulations or guidelines.

  • Face coverings are not required but are strongly recommended when appropriate in public indoor and crowded outdoor settings.
  • Vendor is responsible for providing, properly maintaining, and disposing of, all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), disinfectant wipes, and alcohol-based hand sanitizer for its staff.
  • Vendor will ensure staff follows hygiene and sanitation protocols.
  • Vendor must provide specific information to their Whitney point-of-contact as to job location, number of staff, and duration on-site.
  • If Vendor’s staff has come in contact recently with someone who has tested positive or if Vendor’s staff has recently tested positive, they are to refer to and abide by the latest CDC guidelines and the New York State and New York City DOH guidance for isolation, quarantine, masking recommendations and returning from isolation. The Vendor must notify their Whitney point-of-contact immediately to inform the specific areas where that Vendor’s staff has worked, passed through, and spent time must be disclosed in detail, including any proximate contact with any Museum staff. The name of the individual is not needed, only that the situation has arisen.
  • If Vendor’s staff begins exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms while on-site or have tested positive for COVID-19, they are expected to notify their Whitney point-of-contact and leave the building immediately.

By your arriving on site at the Museum you confirm receipt and acknowledgement of the terms above.
