2021 Walter Annenberg Lecture: Dawoud Bey

Sept 14, 2021

For the past four decades, Dawoud Bey has worked to expand upon what photography can be and the subjects and themes it can address. For this Walter Annenberg Lecture, Bey speaks with Adam D. Weinberg, the Museum’s Alice Pratt Brown Director, about his work, the history of American photography relevant to his own practice, and his ongoing engagement with Black history and memory.
