Fast Forward: A Salon

0:00

Expanding on the rich critical discussions of the 1980s, this salon will focus on select artists from Fast Forward: Painting from the 1980s whose work deserves to be better known. Curators and scholars join two artists included in Fast Forward to reflect on works in the exhibition and the reinvigoration of painting during this pivotal decade. The program features remarks by Ross Bleckner on Moira Dryer; Walter Robinson on Meyer Vaisman; Beau Rutland on Peter Cain; Lowery Stokes Sims on Robert Colescott; and Wendy White on Julia Wachtel. An open discussion with the audience concludes the program.
