Loren Connors, composer and musician, addresses Four Darks in Red, 1958 by Mark Rothko (1903–1970) as part of 99 Objects, the in-gallery public programs series named in honor of the Whitney's new address, 99 Gansevoort Street. Artists, writers, Whitney curators and educators, and an interdisciplinary group of scholars focus on individual works of art from the Museum’s collection on view in America Is Hard to See.
