Lobby Gallery

All 2010 performances will be held on or around Martin Kersels’s sculptural installation-cum-stage, 5 Songs.

As the first Whitney Live artist-in-residence, Colin Gee has been participating in an unprecedented performance-based residency project for the last several months. For 2010, Gee presents a theatrical response to Kersels’s sculptures, seeking a counterpoint between character—often defined by a brief set of movements—and architectural setting.

Free with Museum admission; there are no special tickets or reservations.
