Verbal Description Online: Working Together: The Photographers of the Kamoinge Workshop

FRI, Feb 19, 2021
10–11:30 am

Online, via Zoom

Verbal Description Online provides an opportunity for visitors who are blind or have low vision to experience the richness and diversity of twentieth and twenty-first century American art through vivid description. Ninety-minute sessions are free-of-charge and are offered monthly on Friday mornings through Zoom and over the phone. This session will focus on how the contrasting concepts of hope and despair appear in the exhibition Working Together: The Photographers of the Kamoinge Workshop.

This event will have automated closed captions through Zoom. Live captioning is available for public programs and events upon request with seven business days advance notice. We will make every effort to provide accommodation for requests made outside of that window of time. To place a request, please contact us at accessfeedback@whitney.org or (646) 666-5574 (voice). Relay and voice calls welcome.
