Floor Three, Susan and John Hess Family Theater

These presentations and discussion about surveillance and artistic practice in the post-9/11 world feature artists and scholars Kate Crawford, Jill Magid, Trevor Paglen, Laura Poitras, and Hito Steyerl, along with Whitney curator Jay Sanders, who are all contributors to Astro Noise: A Survival Guide for Living Under Total Surveillance, the publication accompanying the exhibition. The discussion is moderated by Jess Search, CEO of BRITDOC, a co-producer of Poitras's documentary Citizenfour (2014). 

This event is part of a series of public events, lectures, and talks organized in tandem with ​Laura Poitras: Astro Noise​.

Event tickets are required ($10 adults; $8 members; students and seniors). Please note: this event has reached ticketing capacity.
