Enjoy a casual, members-only evening hosted in Studio Cafe, the Whitney’s indoor/outdoor rooftop restaurant from Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group. Each evening features a thematic menu of beverages and shareable small plates, specially selected by the culinary and beverage team at Untitled and Studio Cafe, led by Executive Chef Suzanne Cupps and Wine Director Michaël Engelmann MS. All menu items are available for purchase.

Special performance by Ensō Tangensè, an experimental and improvisational performance ensemble founded in 2015 by collaborators Alexander Steinberg, Nicholas Lenchner, and Dylan Shumaker. Initial inspiration arose from the Zen calligraphy tradition of drawing Enso, wherein the artist practices a “way of Zen through the brush" by quieting the mind and creating with the body. Ensō Tangensè performances welcome both performer and listener to unwind the mind and attune to the body’s natural inclinations to intuit, create and follow tangents of the unencumbered mind.

Calder: Hypermobility will be open during the event. All other exhibitions will be closed.

This event has reached capacity. Reservations for dinner at Untitled can be made online.
