Floor 3, Hearst Artspace

For all ages

Enter Wanda Gág’s World, where landscapes move rhythmically and inanimate objects hum with life! Wanda Gág was an artist, illustrator, and children’s book writer. She wrote and illustrated Millions of Cats, the oldest American picture book still in print! The exhibition is filled with still lifes, landscapes, and interiors which illuminate what the artist called “Wanda Gág world.”

Artists of all ages are invited to get creative in the Hearst Artspace to build a story world of their own by creating a set of story dice—discover a new tale with every roll!
