The 2019 Whitney Biennial is the Museum’s seventy-ninth installment of the Whitney’s flagship exhibition. Charting the latest developments in contemporary American art, this year’s presentation features seventy-five artists working in painting, sculpture, installation, film and video, photography, performance, and sound. Each tour, lasting approximately fifty minutes, will be led by one of the Museum’s Joan Tisch Teaching Fellows. A wine reception will be available throughout the event.
