While Andy Warhol’s Pop images of the 1960s are recognizable world-wide, what remains far less known is the work he produced in the 1970s and 1980s. With over 350 works of art, Andy Warhol—From A to B and Back Again is the first Warhol retrospective organized in the U.S. since 1989 and will unite all aspects, media, and periods of the artist’s forty-year career. The exhibition positions Warhol’s career as a continuum that illuminates the breadth and interconnectedness of the artist’s production. Each tour, lasting approximately fifty minutes, will be led by one of the Museum’s Joan Tisch Teaching Fellows.
