Open Studio for Teens

New York City teens

New York City teens are invited to a free drop-in art making program on Friday afternoons, 4–6 pm. Bring your works-in-progress or create something entirely new. Each week we provide a prompt for reflection and art-making inspired by current exhibitions. 

All supplies are provided and no previous art experience is required—everyone is welcome!

*On March 17, artist collective Postcommodity will lead a special art-making workshop.

Free for teens. Upon entering the Museum, pick up a ticket in the lobby and head up to Floor Three.

The Hearst Artspace and the Seminar Room are equipped with induction hearing loops and infrared assistive listening systems. Accessible seating is also available.
