New York City teens

Artist Mathew Cerletty invites NYC teens to create artworks inspired by objects that are important to them but might seem ordinary to everyone else. Cerletty’s paintings often combine personal memories, everyday subjects, and mysterious settings. His work is on view in the exhibition Flatlands in the Lobby gallery.

This event is free to attend, and art materials are provided. No RSVP required—bring a friend! Questions? Email youthinsights@whitney.org.
