For families with kids of all ages

The Whitney’s Education Department is hosting The Lower East Side Printshop for an artist residency inspired by Andy Warhol—From A to B and Back Again. Families are invited to try their hand at the silk screening process and experiment with some of the printmaking techniques that Andy Warhol used in his own work. After looking at artwork created by Warhol, participants will then make their own prints on tote bags, with guidance from the Printshop’s master printers and staff. Families can also join a tour to see Warhol's prints.

Free with Museum admission—save time and buy your admission ticket online in advance.
