Floor 3, Theater

Directed by Scott Reeder, Moon Dust (2014; 92 minutes) is a science fiction fantasy about the last resort on the moon, featuring space drugs, extraterrestrial infestations, a space jam band, the Five Seasons bar, and more. The screening will be followed by a Q&A between Reeder and writer and musician Ian F. Svenonius, who stars in the film.

This program is organized in conjunction with Laura Owens in collaboration with 356 S. Mission Rd.

Scott Reeder (b. 1970, Ann Arbor, Michigan) has had solo exhibitions at Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art, Retrospective in Hudson, 356 Mission in Los Angeles, Kavi Gupta in Chicago and Berlin, and Lisa Cooley in New York. His work has been included in group exhibitions at the 2003 Venice Biennale, Saatchi Gallery, and Detroit’s Museum of Contemporary Art, among other venues. In April 2018, he will have a solo show at CANADA, New York.
