Join us for previews of Programmed: Rules, Codes, and Choreographies in Art, 1965–2018, the new Whitney collection exhibition that looks back at predecessors of computational art and shows how the ideas addressed in those earlier works have evolved in contemporary artistic practices. The exhibition features Nam June Paik's Fin de Siecle II (1989), made possible by a five-year historic conservation effort in collaboration with the Nam June Paik Estate. This presentation represents the first time this seminal work will be on view in its entirety since 1989.
