Enjoy a first look at Fast Forward: Painting from the 1980s. Drawn entirely from the Whitney’s collection, this exhibition takes a focused look at painting from a decade associated with the arrival of new media and the rapid growth of the contemporary art world. Fast Forward presents work by Jean-Michel Basquiat, Ross Bleckner, Eric Fischl, Elizabeth Murray, David Salle, and Terry Winters, alongside work by less-familiar artists such as Moira Dryer, Joyce Pensato, and Julia Wachtel.

Wednesday and Thursday, January 25–26
12–5 pm

Standard admission for each category applies: Discount and Individual members enjoy admission for the cardholder, Dual and Friend members enjoy admission for the two cardholders, etc. One-time-use member guest passes may be used. Not open to corporate and reciprocal members.
