Celebrate Halloween at the Whitney with after-dark access—just for members! Explore our newest show, Edges of Ailey, alongside our full exhibition lineup in an art-inspired costume. Drawing from the spirit of artists who reflect on Alvin Ailey's lifetime achievements through their own mediums to this day, dress up in the style of an artwork or artist you admire. This special evening also includes Preview access to Shifting Landscapes, mini tours, music, artmaking, and more.

Drop in to join Teaching Artist Jaqueline Cedar for a figure drawing session inspired by Alvin Ailey. Dancers from Ailey Extension will grace our stage for live modeling as you practice sketching their energy and movement throughout the evening.

Inspired by Wanda Gág's surreal still lifes, turn ordinary objects into an extraordinary installation by experimenting with light and shadow to draw, trace, and create a collaborative artwork with fellow attendees

One of our returning member-favorite DJs is back–April Hunt nurtures a powerful community of creatives, with an emphasis on celebrating people of color through her platform, Mixtape.
