Laura Poitras and Joshua Oppenheimer, the director of the Oscar-nominated film The Look of Silence (2014), speak about their practice as documentary filmmakers. The conversation is moderated by Eric Hynes, associate curator of Film, Museum of the Moving Image.

The program is produced in collaboration with the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation as part of the 35th Anniversary of the MacArthur Fellows Program

This event is part of a series of public events, lectures, and talks organized in tandem with ​Laura Poitras: Astro Noise​.
