Floor 8

Kevin Beasley: A view of a landscape presents a series of live performances by Kevin Beasley and other artists throughout the run of the exhibition. Beasley and his collaborators will interact directly with the cotton gin motor installation to produce new sound compositions in the gallery space. This performance features Jlin.

Jlin is one of the most prominent female producers of electronic music of the current generation. She grew up in Gary, Indiana. Though she previously used samples in her work, her tracks are now composed of all original material.

This event has reached ticketing capacity. Performance is standing room only, with seating available upon request.
