Family Fun: Rural America!

For families with kids ages 6 to 10
Families create hands-on art projects inspired by discussion and activities in the galleries. Explore rural America in Grant Wood: American Gothic and Other Fables. Learn how Wood represented the American landscape using his imagination. Then create your own artwork in the studio!
This program has been developed specifically for kids ages 6 to 10. Siblings are welcome to join the group but must have a ticket.
Tickets are required; every adult and child must reserve a ticket to attend this program. Members: please log-in to view and reserve discounted tickets.
$10 per child, plus Museum admission ($25 adults; $18 seniors. Museum admission is free for members and children under 18). Families are encouraged to sign up for one tour a month. Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged. If you have any questions about which tour is most appropriate for your family, please email familyprograms@whitney.org before purchasing your tickets.
The Hearst Artspace and the Seminar Room are equipped with induction hearing loops and infrared assistive listening systems. Accessible seating is also available.
