Contemporaries Members

Whitney Contemporaries members are invited to explore the home and studio of E.V. Day, a New York–based installation artist and sculptor whose work is included in the Whitney's permanent collection. Day has described her work, which explores themes of sexuality and humor while employing gravity-defying suspension techniques, as “futurist abstract paintings in three dimensions.” She received her M.F.A. in Sculpture from Yale University School of Art, and her work is included in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the Smithsonian Institution.

Currently, this event is full. Contemporaries who would like to be added to the wait list may email contemporaries@whitney.org.
