Meet outdoors in front of The Standard, High Line, Garden Rooms, 69 Little West 12th Street between Washington Street and Tenth Avenue

Throughout the twentieth century and to the present day, artists living and working in downtown Manhattan have created work that responds to the urban environment. Staying within a radius of just a few blocks from the Museum’s new building, this walking tour with Whitney teaching fellows will highlight the artistic legacy of select neighborhood landmarks, including the Hudson Piers, the High Line, and White Columns.

Tour lasts approximately 40 minutes. Please note this opportunity will occur outdoors; in the event of inclement weather, an alternative indoor program will be scheduled.
