Join us for a special talk about the Whitney’s new neighborhood. Concurrent with the construction of the new building, the Whitney’s education department launched special initiatives to research and document the multifaceted history of the Whitney’s new neighborhood and to build relationships with local audiences and community organizations. This special talk is your chance to learn about the Meatpacking District’s rich history and to hear about the Whitney’s contributions to the vibrant community life of the neighborhood and city.
