As part of Downtown Member Saturday, learn about the dynamic mix of exhibitions, screenings, performances, and permanent-collection presentations planned for the Whitney's new building in this keynote address by Scott Rothkopf, Nancy and Steve Crown Family Curator and Associate Director of Programs. With greatly expanded space for the Museum’s collection and with flexible galleries for temporary special exhibitions, the Whitney’s new building will open up new opportunities to understand and interpret the art of the present in dialogue with history. Museumgoers will have the powerful experience of viewing the Whitney’s groundbreaking exhibitions in the context of its iconic collection.
