Open to Contemporaries and Contemporaries Patron Members

Contemporaries and Contemporaries Patron members are invited to a guided tour of Downtown/Uptown: New York in the Eighties at Lévy Gorvy Dayan, led by co-curators Mary Boone and Brett Gorvy. On view at the gallery’s Beaux-Arts style townhouse, the presentation will feature paintings, sculptures, photographs, and works on paper by seminal artists including Jean-Michel Basquiat, Guerrilla Girls, Keith Haring, Jeff Koons, Barbara Kruger, Cindy Sherman, and Andy Warhol. The works in this exhibition represent the diverse and groundbreaking art created during, and in response to, the 1980s in New York—while also highlighting the community shared by the artists on view.
