Floor 8 Terrace

Contemporaries and Contemporaries Patrons

Join artist and educator Mark Joshua Epstein for an evening of drinks and hands-on artmaking inspired by the new exhibition Mary Corse: A Survey in Light. Create works in response to the artist's key bodies of work that are featured in her first solo museum survey as one of the few women associated with the West Coast Light and Space movement. Experience her early shaped canvases, freestanding sculptures, and light encasements, as well as her breakthrough White Light paintings, and Black Earth series that she initiated after moving to Topanga Canyon.

7–7:30 pm
Reception and exhibition preview of Mary Corse: A Survey In Light (opens to the public on June 8)

7:30–8:30 pm
Guided artmaking led by educator and artist Mark Joshua Epstein

8:30–9:30 pm
Reception and exhibition preview continues with access to eighth floor terrace
