Contemporaries and Contemporaries Patrons

Join us for a special salon with artist Livia Corona Benjamin in conversation with curatorial project assistant Alana Hernandez. Livia Corona Benjamin’s works stem from her long-term, ongoing project exploring grain silos in rural Mexico, known as graneros del pueblo, that were built in the now defunct government program CONASUPO (Compañia Nacional de Subsistencias Populares). They will discuss the artist's video Graneros del Pueblo / Nadie Sabe, Nadie Supo (2016) currently on view in Pacha, Llaqta, Wasichay: Indigenous Space, Modern Architecture, New Art.

Contemporaries and Contemporaries Patron members are invited to this event. The invitation is for two individuals per membership household. To register, email contemporaries@whitney.org with your name and membership ID.

To join or upgrade, call (212) 570-7746.
