Contemporaries and Contemporaries Patrons

Contemporaries are invited to a special conversation with artist Juan Antonio Olivares (b. 1988) and associate curator Jane Panetta.

On the occasion of his first solo presentation in a United States institution, Olivares will be in conversation with Panetta to discuss his 2017 video Moléculas, a highly personal narrative made using 3D animation that is part autobiographical, part fantastical reality. The work Moléculas is part of the Whitney’s permanent collection.

Contemporaries and Contemporaries Patron members are invited to this event: The invitation is for two individuals per membership household. To RSVP, email contemporaries@whitney.org with your name and membership ID.

To join or upgrade, call (212) 570-7746.
