Contemporaries and Contemporaries Patrons

Join us for an after-hours tour of the first retrospective of Andy Warhol’s work organized in the U.S. since 1989, Andy Warhol—From A to B and Back Again. Through his carefully cultivated persona and willingness to experiment with non-traditional art-making techniques, Warhol understood the growing power of images in contemporary life and anticipated the most profound effects and issues of our current digital age. The exhibition positions Warhol’s career as a continuum that illuminates the breadth and interconnectedness of the artist’s production. Each tour, lasting approximately fifty minutes, will be led by one of the Museum’s Joan Tisch Teaching Fellows. A wine reception will be held before and after the tour.
