2010 aritist Theaster Gates creates installations that reference places and ideas from his own life, ranging from his hometown neighborhood in Chicago, to tea houses in Japan. For his Biennial work, Gates has created an outdoor space that features regular performances. Families will have the opportunity to explore the installation and take part in a hands-on activity.

$10 per family (free for member families). Museum admission includes admission to family programs. Registration for this program is required.
