Contemporaries Patrons

Join for an exclusive walk-through with artist Alex Da Corte's latest exhibition of new work at Karma gallery in the East Village. The artist will lead Contemporaries Patrons through an immersive installation featuring neon window sculptures and an 11-minute Hitchcockian horror film starring the musician St. Vincent. This solo show, C-A-T Spells Murder, explores the pop-psychology acronym that fear is “False Evidence Appearing Real,” the exhibition title taken from R.L. Stine’s Fear Street books.

The artist's immersive work with Jayson Musson, Easternsports, 2014, was in the Museum’s 2016 exhibition Dreamlands: Immersive Cinema and Art, 1905–2016.

Contemporaries Patron members are invited to this event: The invitation is for two individuals per membership household. To RSVP, email contemporaries@whitney.org with your name and membership ID.
