Contemporary art today draws inspiration and practices from a wide range of influences, including theater and dance. Inspired by the range of performances scheduled as part of Whitney Biennial 2012, students will observe scheduled performances in the galleries as well as examples of video art and performance. Students will work collaboratively to create and record their own performative actions.
