Join us for a tour of the Fisher Landau Center For Art in Long Island City, followed by cocktails and a studio visit of 2002 Biennial and permanent collection artist, Stephen Dean. Emily Fisher Landau's collection—also currently on display at the Whitney—includes artists such as William Eggleston, Ed Rucha, and Andy Warhol. Dean's work has appeared in exhibitions at the Guggenheim, the Henry Art Gallery, SITE Santa Fe, and featured in the Venice biennial. In addition, Anne Deleporte, Dean’s wife and a fellow artist featured at Centre Georges Pompidou and in the New Orleans Prospect Biennial, has generously opened up her private studio to us. We have the opportunity to share first-hand the dialogue between two artists and how it influences their work. This will surely be a memorable afternoon of artistic exploration as we observe this dynamic husband-wife partnership and visit the acclaimed Fisher Landau collection!
