Join Contemporaries curatorial liaison and Biennial curatorial assistant Elisabeth Sherman on a one-floor tour of the 2014 Whitney Biennial.

Building on a longstanding commitment to innovation and experimentation, the Whitney has adopted a bold new form for the 2014 Biennial. Three curators from outside the Museum—Stuart Comer, Anthony Elms, and Michelle Grabner—were invited to bring their unique perspectives to the Whitney’s signature survey of American art. Each of the curators has individually overseen the installation and programming for a single gallery floor, bringing a range of methodologies to the final Biennial to take place in the Whitney’s Madison Avenue building before the Museum moves downtown in 2015.

Each of the three spotlight tours focuses on a different floor of the Biennial:
