Ry Rocklen with young artist.

Ry Rocklen collects cast off objects from the streets, dumpsters, and thrift stores to assemble his sculptures. The artist explored his work in the Biennial 2008 with families, and led participants in an art-making workshop inspired by his process of using unusual materials. Kids and parents were asked to make a sculpture using discarded toys and objects, and create a mini gallery installation with their work.
