Whitney Biennial 2008 Family Guide by Matthew Brannon

Matthew Brannon uses traditional, hand-crafted printing techniques such as letterpress and lithography to create works inspired by modern advertisements and media. Brannon collaborated with Family Programs staff to create the 2008 Biennial's gallery guide for families, complete with original artwork as well as discussion- and drawing-based activities. Kids were asked to draw and write on the final page, submitting a question, artwork, or idea to the Biennial artist of their choice. Check out their responses in the slideshow!
